After obtaining a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC), I became involved in trauma and play therapy while at UCLA's Department of Pediatrics. Since transitioning to private practice in 2003, I continue to work with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder as an EMDR Certified Therapist, I also serve adults, children and adolescents with Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Eating Disorders, and ADD/ADHD, as well as individuals and families with grief and loss, stage of life/adjustment, behavioral, attachment, domestic violence and abuse issues.

I utilize research-based treatments to ensure clients achieve optimal wellbeing. I view clients' experiences from their perspective to facilitate exploration and discovery of new understandings that help achieve their goals. My emotional and cognitive approach include EMDR, Mindfulness, spirituality, etc, to promote personal growth and healthy relationships.

I was the 2017 and 2018 President and served on the Board of Directors of the EMDR International Association for 5 years. I'm also a member of the Association for Play Therapy. I have served as a guest speaker on trauma and abuse, child development, cross-cultural and transracial adoption, and behavior modification and parenting strategies. I also serve as a Member of the Board of Councilors, at the Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, USC.
